                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 2801
                   DODSON AVENUE FROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO C-5
                   NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 2801 Dodson Avenue, being on
              the northwest line of Dodson Avenue at Bachman Street.
              Part of block 13, Anderson's Addition to East
              Chattanooga, as shown by plat of record in plat book 3,
              page 12, R.O.H.C.; being the property described in deed
              book 3965, page 455, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No. 127M-N-20.
             
         from R-2 Residential Zone to C-5 Neighborhood Commercial Zone.
         	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
